• Rafael Márquez fluently speaks French, and understands Catalán…uhhh hot and smart
• Rafa’s childhood favorite painting was one that he created for his high school art class-and he accepts he had an obsession with it!
• Rafa’s tattoo on his abs signifies the names of his father, uncle , and cousin. As always, family’s first!!

• He was married to mexican actress Adriana Lavat for 4 years, but he divorced later in 2007.
• After many rumors of romance, Rafa is currently with mexican model and actress Jaydi Mitchell (dearly called “corn hairs”) and have been together for 3 years; don’t worry girls, he is not engaged to her.
• If (and only if) Rafa is the captain of the Mexican seleccion for the next World Cup, he is going to be the only captain in the soccer world to have participated as captain for three World Cups…up up Rafa!!
